Name: Jeremy Bulloch
Character: Longtail Place
of Birth: Birth: Leicester, England
Info:
Born in Leicester, England, Jeremy left school at
the age of 11 (after failing an exam). It turned out
to be one of the best things he ever did. Entering a
drama
college, he quickly succeeded as a child actor, appearing
in films and television. At the age of 17, he did a film
(Summer Holiday), with singer Cliff Richard. The film
became a major success in England. Armed with that credit,
Jeremy
did three years on the TV soap opera The Newcomers, the
start of a career that will soon have spanned 40 years.
Best known as Boba Fett from the Star Wars trilogy, Jeremy
has also appeared in three of the James Bond films (as
'Smithers', assistant to the ever-present 'Q'); in several
episodes of the legendary Doctor Who, and in a variety
of films including O Lucky Man, Mary, Queen of Scots
and The Virgin and the Gypsy. Jeremy currently lives
in London
with his wife Maureen; he also has three grown children.
His hobbies include golf, cricket, traveling, and gardening.
Note for trivia buffs: Aside from his stint as Boba Fett,
Jeremy appears in The Empire Strikes Back a second time,
sans helmet and armor, as one of Vader's imperial officers
(he's the one taking Leia and Chewbacca to Vader's shuttle
when Luke attacks).
